Team Spirit’s CS2 star player donk has proven once again why he’s in a league of his own.
Recognized as the current best CS2 player in the world, donk has dominated the FACEIT leaderboards for the fifth consecutive season, stretching his reign at No. 1 to an incredible 20 months.
The 18-year-old Russian prodigy finished with a jaw-dropping 5,283 Elo rating in FACEIT Season 5, far ahead of Team Falcons’ kyousuke (4,967) and m0NESY (4,879). His stats speak for themselves: 67.4% win rate and 57.7% headshot accuracy across 288 games.
And here’s the kicker: he did all this while competing at the highest level of pro CS2. Over the course of the season, donk helped Spirit go on deep runs at elite events like the BLAST Open Spring, BLAST Rivals Spring, PGL Astana (which they won), and the Austin Major.
The star rifler will aim to retain his FACEIT crown in Season 6, all while leading Team Spirit’s charge to reclaim the world No. 1 ranking and looking to win the last CS2 Major of the year at StarLadder Budapest.

While donk was dominating ranked play, FACEIT also wrapped up its fifth season of the FACEIT Pro League (FPL), awarding top performers in each region:
- Europe FPL: Ryujin – $13,950
- North America FPL: Calamity – $7,400
- South America FPL: fokiu – $2,850
- Middle East FPL: -0scar – $2,750

FACEIT Season 6 kicks off on July 22 and will run through Nov. 23. This new season brings a few important updates aimed at improving the overall ranked experience.
Players with an Elo above 3,600 will undergo a soft reset. This adjustment aims to reduce large skill gaps in matchmaking, especially early in the season, and should lead to fairer, more competitive games.
The map pool is also getting a shakeup, with Overpass replacing Anubis in line with the recent CS2 patch. Lastly, FACEIT is rolling out improvements to its anti-cheat and smurf prevention systems to create a cleaner and more reliable environment for players at all levels.
