Don’t Worry Darling star Kiki Layne has claimed “most” of her scenes were cut from the movie.

The new psychological thriller has hit headlines due to reports of a feud between director Olivia Wilde and leading actress Florence Pugh, and a video going viral that appeared to show leading man Harry Styles spitting on co-star Chris Pine at the Venice Film Festival.

Now, actress Layne has alleged that she and co-star Ari’el Stachel were “cut from most of the movie”.

Taking to Instagram, she uploaded a series of behind-the-scenes pictures of her and Satchel on set.

“The best thing about #DontWorryDarling is that I was lucky enough to meet @arielstachel. They cut us from most of the movie, but we thriving in real life,” she wrote alongside it.

Love you Ari,” she added with four red love heart emojis and the hashtags “got my check,” “got my man,” “everything happens for a reason”.

Stachel commented: “My love. You are a queen and your talent shines so bright. I was thirsty then and I’m thirsty now,” along with three red love heart emoji.

Co-star Gemma Chan also commented, simply leaving a heart emoji on Layne’s post.

Don’t Worry Darling was released in cinemas last Friday.

The 1950s set flick tells the story of housewife Alice, played by Pugh, whose husband Jack (Styles) moves them into a utopian community for his new company.

She starts worrying that her husband and his company are hiding terrible secrets as her life is turned upside down.

Warner Bros have been contacted for comment.
