'Don't start him!' - Spurs fans have one demand for Mauricio Pochettino ahead of Everton trip

Mauricio Pochettino might be forced into a defensive reshuffle ahead of Tottenham Hotspur's return to Merseyside.

A week after losing 2-1 against Liverpool, the Lilywhites face Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon and will be without Danny Rose who picked up his fifth booking of the season at Anfield.

Furthermore, Jan Vertonghen has emerged as a doubt for the clash against the Toffees.

That could mean Ben Davies comes in at left-back, while Davinson Sanchez is likely to keep his place alongside Toby Alderweireld if Vertonghen fails a late fitness test.

But Pochettino could have a decision to make at right-back.

Serge Aurier came in for stinging criticism from Manchester United legend Roy Keane following his role in the penalty which allowed Liverpool to win the game last weekend.

"The two Tottenham full-backs were dreadful. Dumb and Dumber, I'd call them. I thought they were really poor. You can't compare them to Liverpool, the two lads who are absolutely fantastic," Keane told Sky Sports.

"Particularly going forward, okay defensively there's parts of the games they can improve on, but going forward they're absolutely fantastic."

Will those comments persuade Pochettino into dropping Aurier in favour of Juan Foyth or Kyle Walker-Peters?

Other requests include a full debut for deadline day signing Giovani Lo Celso...
