Dolphins’ Week 1 injury report

The Miami Dolphins will host the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday in a contest of teams trending in opposite directions. The Ravens are coming off of a playoff appearance and have been busy this offseason building up pieces around young quarterback Lamar Jackson in an effort to maximize his unique talent. The Dolphins? They’re still in the process tearing the foundation of this Dolphins roster to help make way for a new generation of Dolphins.

This game could get ugly. The good news for those fans hoping to see a Dolphins victory? Those Dolphins who are still here should be at full strength to bump heads with the Ravens on Sunday.

Miami released their mid-week injury report for Week 1 and while there are some notable names included, no one appears to be at risk of missing the game. Here’s Miami’s current list of injuries:

  • CB Johnson Bademosi – Hip (limited)
  • DE/OLB Charles Harris – Wrist (full)
  • LB Trent Harris – Foot (DNP)
  • OG Danny Isidora – Hamstring (limited)
  • DT John Jenkins – Illness (limited)
  • S Bobby McCain – Shoulder (limited)
  • LB Andrew Van Ginkel – Foot (limited)
  • WR Albert Wilson – Hip (limited)

Several starters are banged up in Harris, McCain and Wilson — but Wilson has been on the mend since the end of 2018, he should be fine. The Dolphins made an effort to get him live action in the preseason, just to knock the rust off. We’ll find out how competitive these Dolphins can be in September with a brutal early stretch of games. Thankfully they’re close to 100%.

It starts on Sunday against the Ravens.
