Dolphins’ Tua Tagovailoa expected to be available Week 4 after illness

The Miami Dolphins aren’t planning on having to need quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in Week 4, the Dolphins have a veteran quarterback in Ryan Fitzpatrick that has done well over the past two weeks to keep the Miami offense moving and, more importantly, scoring. But if something were to arise and Tagovailoa was indeed needed to step into the game, they should be able to do exactly what — which apparently wasn’t an assumption that could have been made earlier this week.

Tagovailoa missed two days of practice this week with an illness (one that was not related to COVID-19) but ultimately finished the week as ‘questionable’ on the team’s injury report.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport has reported this morning that Tagovailoa will be good to go in Week 4 and is expected to dress despite battling an illness throughout the week.

The Dolphins will face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 4, kicking off their game at 1PM EST at Hard Rock Stadium.
