Dolphins training camp injury report

The Miami Dolphins put on the pads for the first time yesterday and had nearly all hands on deck for the affair. The Dolphins had just three inactive players for Saturday’s practice, all of which are currently designated to the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. They are:

  • TE Dwayne Allen (undisclosed)
  • LB Mike Hull (undisclosed)
  • CB Cordrea Tankersley (knee)

Tankersley appears to be the Dolphin most like to continue his stay on the PUP list into the regular season, in which case he will be eligible for return to the active roster after Week 6 of the season. Both Hull and Allen were active at the end of 2018 and haven’t suffered any known injuries of significance.

Returning to practice yesterday after taking Friday’s session off was wide receiver Albert Wilson — one of Miami’s critical playmakers on offense. Wilson’s day off was a part of his rehabilitation and on-boarding process after suffering a season ending hip injury at the midway point of the 2018 NFL season.

The Dolphins hope to get Wilson into game shape while simultaneously protecting him from extra stress while he continues to test out his hip and ensure he’s fit for action.
