Dolly Parton biopic star found and she's 'sucked, tucked and plucked' like country star

Miley Cyrus has suggested in a new interview that she takes after her iconic godmother Dolly Parton, and it’s been suggested that the young star could play the icon in a biopic.

Speaking to E! News, Miley joked that it wouldn’t be a stretch to take on the role and that it's such an obvious fit that she hasn't even asked her godmother if she thinks she would be good for it.

She said: “I'm sucked, I'm tucked and plucked, just like she taught me. Me and Dolly have never really spoken, honestly, about me playing Dolly because I feel like I'm already doing it.”

While the star has proudly said she can take on the role of the 9 To 5 singer, she did address that she wasn’t sure how they would approach the large bust of her godmother.

Miley said: “'I don't know what they're gonna do to me.”

Country music fans will be elated to know that the pair are scheduled to co-host Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party live from Miami this year with a star studded guestlist in an NBC special.

Miley has often showcased her love for her famous godmother’s work, with her even releasing a cover of Dolly’s classic hit Jolene.

In 2019, when Miley was going through a split from husband Liam Hemsworth which was followed bby a whirlwind romance with Kaitlynn Carter and then a dalliance with Cody Simpson, Dolly offered warm words on the young star’s choices.

Dolly said: “Lord, I’ve done everything, and what I ain’t done, I intend to. She’s going to do that, too. But Miley’s smart; Miley knows what she’s doing.”

She then said: "I know we think she doesn’t, and she might not every minute, but I still know that she’s got good stuff in her."

Dolly went on to say that while she's shared advice with her goddaughter that she considers to be useful, she would prefer to "be an example rather than just try to tell somebody to do this, do that because I don’t think that’s right".

The country crooner added: "Everybody's different. You’ve got your own journey. And some people are going to help you along the way and they can kick a few rocks out of the road for you, but you got to walk it."
