Doja Cat attended a show during Paris Fashion Week while adorned in 30,000 red Swarovski crystals.
Doja Cat showed off her flamboyant flair on Sunday by attending the Schiaparelli runway show while dressed from head to toe in the colour red. Olivier Rousteing, the creative director of Balmain, and Kylie Jenner were among the other famous people that attended the event.
Doja's outfit also included a crimson silk faille bustier, a hand-knit skirt with lacquered wooden beads, and Trompe l'oeil toe boots, according to the official Schiaparelli Instagram account.
Doja Cat's attire, however, was most notable for the dozens of Swarovski crystals that had been painstakingly placed on her head, chest, back, and arms.
The glittering appearance was created by renowned makeup artist Pat McGrath, who revealed to admirers on Instagram that it took nearly five hours and used tens of thousands of crystals.
"Doja's patience and commitment during the 4 hours and 58 minutes it took to create the look with #TeamPatMcGrath and I, which was covered in over 30,000 hand-applied @swarovski Crystals, was truly inspiring," McGrath wrote. "The final product was a magical, mesmerising masterpiece and a tribute to Doja Cat's hard work and dedication.
"This is the lobster / this is the doja cat," one social media user captioned a photo comparing Doja's look to the marine crustacean.
Another one wrote, "If it’s one thing doja cat gonna do during fashion week is use her brilliant mind followed up with an amazing team to create looks that go beyond just your regular beat face and outfit. each look comes with a lot of thought and for that I appreciate her looks ALWAYS."
