Doja Cat shows off HUGE tattoo covering entire back days after bizarre Met Gala outfit

Doja Cat's decision-making has once again stunned her followers as the songstress took to social media to show off her huge new tattoo.

The work of art spans her entire back and down her spine, with the 27-year-old sharing a snap of the design on the platform.

Fans of the Grammy winner questioned the piece, which showed the skeleton of a bat, but she simply said: "'Don't explain yourself' is so corny."

Doja, who was born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, then shared a highlight of a passage which read: "Bats often represent death in the sense of letting go of the old and bringing in the new. They are symbols of transition, of initiation, and the start of a new beginning."

Fans of the Say So singer quickly took to the comments section to make their thoughts known, with one user criticising the fact she felt the need to explain her decision.

They wrote: "The fact that she has to post the symbolic meaning so people won’t accuse her of devil worship is wild."

The comment comes after she faced accusations following her last tattoo, which depicted a mythological figure which she added to her arm in April.

At the time she was accused of "selling her soul" with a "demonic" design, but she hit back to say it was artwork from the 1665 edition of Fortunio Liceti's De Monstris.

Others on her latest post also made reference to her past design, with another joking: "I just know the Illuminati conspiracy theories are gonna run wild with this."

Many others jokingly renamed the star "Doja Bat".

The new look follows her eye-catching outfit at this year's Met Gala where she turned up as a cat.

With the theme of the glitzy bash one that honoured the late Karl Lagerfeld, Doja took it upon herself to dress as his beloved cat Choupette - as did Jared Leto.

Her prosthetics on the night gave her a cat-like nose, and mouth and lifted up her eyes for the strange look. The outfit itself was a shimmering design with a dramatic ruffled train.

The style was complete with cat ears and a selection of stunning jewels.

But her look divided her fans online, with the strange look bringing a lot of different views.
