Dog The Bounty Hunter honours late wife's memory at Christmas with mementos from their last one

Dog The Bounty Hunter is spending his first Christmas without his wife Beth Chapman after she died earlier this year.

But the 66-year-old will be honouring her memory with mementos from all the Christmases they spent together during their 13-year marriage.

According to TMZ, Dog - whose real name is Duane Chapman - has hung all of Beth's favourite Christmas ornaments on the tree and won't be buying any new decorations this year.

Beth used to cook for everyone before she passed away after her battle with throat and lung cancer in June and the family will follow her recipes for their Christmas dinner this year.

They will be having the family's favourites; deviled eggs with jalapenos, sweet potatoes with brown sugar and corn syrup and homemade apple cider to wash it all down.

Dog will have all his close friends and family around him for support, including his son, Garry, and daughter, Bonnie Jo.

He evealed his lonely plans for Christmas in an interview with ET , where the bounty hunter insisted he is trying to keep his wife's festive traditions alive despite the family being "all scattered out".

The emotional interview saw Duane promise to honour his late wife's memory this Christmas as he described how he has recreated the spirit of the season in his Colorado home.

He said: "Beth was old style, old-fashioned. So, you know, that means the tree and the presents. All the stockings hung up… so I'm trying to keep that exact tradition.

"I've got it all decorated. All the stockings are hung. We always left - when the kids were young - cookies for Santa, and I think I'll do that this year also."

Duane was left devastated after Beth lost her battle with throat cancer over the summer in June.

The couple starred together in their own reality show, called Dog the Bounty Hunter.

They married in 2006, and they had two children together, Bonnie and Garry.

Duane has 13 children from multiple previous marriages and also went on to adopt Beth's daughter Cecily.
