When welcoming a dog into your home, you're making a 10 to 15 year long commitment to fulfil their emotional and physical needs because they cannot care for themselves. But one dog owner has shared how his precious pet tries to "manipulate" him into taking him on extra walks throughout the day - and it works every single time.
Taking to Reddit, the man explained how his dog "boops" at the door with his nose before staring at him until he puts his shoes on and grabs the lead. He said: "Everyday at around 4.30pm my dog will come up to my room and boop the door with his nose like he is knocking. When I open it, he walks in with the cutest face, he'll lead me to the front door and sit. It's his way of asking for a walk."

Admitting how he cannot resist his dog's 'sad eyes', he almost always takes his pooch on an extra walk when he comes to him in this way.
While most users couldn't help but laugh at the dog's "manipulation technique', others shared how their pets persuade them into taking them on extra walks and into getting another treat.
One user said: "So relatable - I had a doggie that used to do this. It's like they look at the clock and know 'yup it is time to let human know it's time'. I bet it’s 4:30 right on the tick every time."
Another user added: "My cats do the same! They'll play with my hair until I get up and let them out side to play."
A third user said: "What a gentleman. I got a rescue about a month ago and she just started asking for potty by staring at me, sitting, and then raising a paw."
It comes after a Brighton dog warmed people's hearts after she started sitting outside her owner's house to spend her days people watching.
The chocolate labrador, named Connie, has started spending so much time outside her owner has installed a sweet sign in hopes she gets even more attention from those passing by on their daily walks or commutes into work or school.
One of the signs above her bed reads: "Free Cuddles: I'm old and arthritic, but still have lots of love to share," while another says: "I'm very old and lame, but love affection".
