Star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown scored a game-high 29 points as the Golden State Warriors weirdly dared the Georgia native to shoot it. Fellow All-NBA swingman Jayson Tatum added another 27 on his 26th birthday as the Celtics romped.

As a result of five of their players scoring in double figures, the NBA-best Celtics achieved their third-largest winning margin in franchise history with a 140-88 victory over the weary Golden State on Sunday at TD Garden. What does this mean for the Celtics’ contention hopes in light of exorcising past demons? Are they the team to beat on the way to the 2024 NBA Finals?
