Russia has begun an invasion of Ukraine.
Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba says a "full-scale invasion" has begun and an adviser to Ukraine’s president says about 40 people have been killed so far.
Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, imposed martial law earlier today for a period of 30 days.

Following the developments, Prime Minister Boris Johnson addressed the nation and declared that Russia had 'unleashed war in Europe.'
He finished his address by telling the UK that he and his government will do 'everything to keep our country safe.'
