Investigators in Pennsylvania, US, say the woman from the town of Camp Hill was arrested on drug and theft charges after taking her housemate's car and bank card without permission.

They said Elizabeth Pennypacker, 26, was arrested Tuesday on charges stemming from the incident, which occurred in January.

Police told Fox43 she is also accused of taking a mobile phone.

Authorities said she was able to use the victim's bank card without authorisation, it is alleged.

Fox said in addition to the theft charges, Pennypacker was charged with unauthorised use of an automobile, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by unlawful taking, access device fraud, and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked.

A warrant was issued on January 20. Pennypacker was arrested Tuesday, according to police.
