Sharon Osbourne, the widow of Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne, was spotted wearing one of the rocker’s rings around her neck amid emotional scenes at the Birmingham memorial.
Thousands of people lined the streets of central Birmingham on Wednesday to bid farewell to the Prince of Darkness as his hearse rolled through the city before heading onto a private funeral ceremony.
It comes just over a week after Ozzy sadly passed away at the age of 76, sending shockwaves around the world.
During the emotional afternoon on Wednesday, Sharon and Ozzy’s loved ones stepped out of the procession to reflect on all the touching memorials that had been left for the Brummie icon.
Sharon, 72, was visibly distraught as she gripped her daughter Kelly’s hand while sharing a moment of reflection in front of all the memorials left behind. The family entourage, which included Ozzy’s grandchildren, left flowers at the memorial alongside thousands of others.
In a true tribute to the late Black Sabbath star, his family also donned several items that seemingly served as reminders of Ozzy.

Dangling on a long chain around Sharon’s neck was a large ring that resembled the one that Ozzy usually wore on his ring finger.
“He used to wear both this and the original wedding band from when they got married in 1982,” one eagle-eyed fan wrote about the ring Sharon was wearing.
Meanwhile, Ozzy and Sharon’s youngest daughter, Kelly, also wore reflective circular sunglasses that resembled the ones that Ozzy became famed for wearing throughout his life.
Ozzy’s family members then turned to the crowd, with Sharon raising her peace fingers toward Ozzy’s fans just like her husband was renowned for doing throughout his rock and roll career.
Yesterday, Birmingham’s famous Broad Street echoed with the sounds of fans shouting “Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy, oi, oi, oi,” as a hearse carrying the musician’s coffin alongside purple flowers spelling his name rolled through his hometown.
Osbourne rose from a working-class background in Birmingham to become one of the most iconic and coveted rock legends from the UK, with his band Black Sabbath being largely credited with the birth of heavy metal.
In yet another touching tribute, the hearse also took a turn down Lodge Road in Aston, the street on which Ozzy grew up, as part of the afternoon procession. Following Wednesday’s emotional farewell, the rock star’s coffin was taken to a private ceremony where family and friends could lay Ozzy to rest.
Tributes have continued to pour in from around the world after the Osbournes confirmed that Ozzy had died peacefully at the family’s Grade II listed mansion in Buckinghamshire, just weeks after his final live performance with Black Sabbath.
His family, who were by his side when he died, later said in a statement: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love."
