Disruption for city travellers as tram suffers technical fault

Commuters have been left unable to catch the tram between two key Nottingham stops as a result of a technical fault.

The NET Tram service between the Royal Centre and Nottingham Station was stopped at around 7.20 on Thursday night (November 4) after one of its cars experienced a technical fault.

Travellers are left unable to use buses, which are not accepting tickets according to NET.

Those travelling to Phoenix Park have been advised to make their way to the Royal Centre stop, with those on the way towards Toton Lane told to go to Nottingham Station.

In a tweet, NET said: "No service between the Royal Centre and the Nottingham Station due to a tram with technical faults.

"When travelling to Phoenix Park or Hucknall please make your way to Royal Centre.

"Travelling to Toton Lane or Clifton South please make your way to the Train Station."
