Disneyland Paris reveals sneak peek inside new Marvel hotel - and it's a comic fan's dream

Comic fans everywhere are getting excited for the opening of Disneyland Paris' Marvel-themed hotel.

"Disney's Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel" is set to open its doors to guests  next summer but, in the meantime, they have revealed some sneak peek photos - and it looks like a fan's dream.

Forget Disney princesses, this hotel is all about the superheros and features more than 300 pieces of artwork from over 50 Marvel Comics and Marvel Studios artists.

The concept behind the hotel is the idea of a New York art gallery that celebrates 80 years of Marvel, reports the Mirror.

The walls will be decked out in everything from comic book covers, to posters, illustrations from films, storyboards, original sketches and exclusive pieces.

Each room will be themed around a particular superhero, so you can stay in a room assigned to your favourite character - whether it be Spider-Man or the Avengers.

There will be something to look at everywhere you go, from a chandelier inspired by Thor's Asgardian Palace in the Manhattan Restaurant, to the Skyline Bar with breathtaking 'views'.

Other highlights include an indoor and outdoor pool complex with a hot tub, sauna and Turkish Bath and a super hero station" for kids (and big kids) where you can go to meet your favourite supers.

There will also be a "Marvel Design Studio" where guests can take part in various workshops with comic experts.

A number of budget airlines fly direct from Edinburgh to Paris, including Ryanair and EasyJet, with flights starting at around £60.

While the hotel is expected to open in summer 2020 Disneyland Paris has revealed that it will open for bookings from Tuesday 5 November here.
