Dirk Nowitzki’s final basket was a perfect tribute to his entire career

Dirk Nowitzki’s legendary NBA career came to an end Wednesday night in San Antonio and the sixth all-time scorer in league history finished things off in style.

Nowitzki, who made his retirement official moments after Tuesday’s game against the Phoenix Suns, finished his last game with a team-high 20 points in 32 minutes.

And the big man from Germany, who spent all 21 years of his career with the Dallas Mavericks, went out the way we’ve seen so many times during his career – with an unstoppable fallaway jumper from the top of the key.

Seriously, how good is this from the final minute of his last game?

Awesome that Gregg Popovich was calling his guys off, too.
