If you’ve got a little dinosaur fanatic in your life there’s an event coming up they will adore.
The ‘roarsome adventure’ involves taking a steam train ride to get up close to a herd of ‘baby dinosaurs’, and you may even be able to tickle a T-Rex under the chin.
The family day out sounds like a dream come true for little ones who love the prehistoric creatures.
Passengers on the fun expedition will time travel on a dino-proof steam train along with a host of colourful characters, with entertaining dinosaur themed activities along the way to complete the adventure.
There will be plenty of photo opportunities on the two hour experience, with expert T-Rex wranglers and Triceratops tamers on board to share their knowledge.
The Dinky Dino Adventure takes place on the East Lancashire Railway, travelling from Bury Bolton Street Station, which is around an hour’s drive from Liverpool city centre. The train will head to Rawtenstall in Lancashire, before returning to Bury.
It’s recommended for families with children aged four to 11 years old.
The event takes place on:
- April 9 at 10.10am, 12.40pm and 2.40pm
- July 30 at 10am, 12.40pm and 3.25pm
