Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi starrer 'OMG 2' is roaring across the nation for its honest attempt at spreading awareness about sex education in schools. Be it for the dialogue, the characterisation, the story, or the motive, the film stands for a commendable sequel.
Many young actors are a part of the film, and Vedika, who plays Sophie, is one of the youngsters who added more power to the film. But not many may know that the newbie has shared screen space with Akshay Kumar even before starring in 'OMG 2'.
Vedika revealed exclusively to ETimes, "Though I had no scenes with Akshay Kumar in 'OMG2, as we shot at different times and scenes for the same movie, I had worked with him a few years ago. It was for a promo shoot for 'Khelo India', which unfortunately never came out. But I had the opportunity to work with him."
While 'OMG 2' is winning praise, the subject of the film has hurt a certain section of society. The Rashtriya Hindu Parishad has thus announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh to anyone who can slap or spit on Akshay Kumar for his portrayal of Lord Shiva's messenger in the film. The reward was announced by the Hindu outfit's president, Govind Parashar.
