Did Clavicular really transform after 11 cosmetic procedures? Viral X post fuels massive looksmaxxing debate over changing appearance

A viral X post has put content creator Clavicular at the center of a new online debate. The post claims he underwent 11 cosmetic procedures and compares an older photo with a recent portrait showing a very different look. The claims have not been independently verified. Even so, the post has attracted more than 1.6 million views and started a wider conversation about looksmaxxing, cosmetic surgery and changing beauty standards for men.

Clavicular before and after photos fuel questions about alleged cosmetic procedures

The viral post shared by @viewsceo places two photos of Clavicular side by side. One image appears to show an older mugshot-style photo with stronger facial features and a more rugged appearance. The newer image shows a polished portrait with a smoother face and a more model-like look.

According to the post, Clavicular allegedly underwent 11 cosmetic procedures involving areas such as the jaw, nose and skin. However, those claims have not been independently verified, and Clavicular has not publicly confirmed the full list of procedures mentioned in the post.

Even with that uncertainty, the comparison quickly spread across X, where thousands of users shared their own opinions about the dramatic difference between the two images.

Clavicular viral post starts wider looksmaxxing and beauty standards debate

The discussion soon became much bigger than one creator’s appearance. Many users said they preferred the older photo, arguing that it looked more natural and masculine. Others felt the newer look appeared too polished or artificial, while some praised what they saw as a successful transformation.

Several users also connected the discussion to the growing looksmaxxing trend, where young men try to improve their appearance through skincare, fitness, grooming and, in some cases, cosmetic procedures. Some commenters even compared the transformation to celebrities who went through multiple cosmetic changes over the years, although those comparisons reflected personal opinions rather than confirmed facts.

The viral post has also reopened conversations about the pressure social media can place on young people. As edited photos, beauty filters and cosmetic enhancements become more common online, many users questioned whether unrealistic beauty standards are influencing more people to change their appearance.

For now, the debate continues because the viral post has raised more questions than answers. While the images have attracted huge attention, the specific claims about the number of procedures remain unverified.
