Did Chris Evans improvise his EXPLICIT monologue in 'Deadpool And Wolverine'?

Chris Evans made his return to the MCU in a surprise cameo in Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's 'Deadpool & Wolverine'. The actor, who is best known for his role as Captain America, made his big screen return in the superhero genre, but this time as Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch.

In an exclusive interview with People, Evans, shared that Reynolds made him the offer to return as Johnny a couple of years ago. He recalled Ryan telling him, "'I have something that could really bring the house down and would let you play a character from your past.'"

Evans gushed about the chance to work with Ryan again saying to the portal, "I just trust him completely. So the chance to be Johnny again, I couldn't pass up. I loved it. It was fun to shoot, fun to watch, all of it."

Viewers who stayed through the post-credit scene were treated to a monologue by Evans filled with expletives and sexual innuendo. Opening up about undergoing a whole character switch in this film, he revealed that Ryan even offered him cue cards to make sure he got the dialogue right. Sharing his reaction to the same, he added, "I was like, 'Cue cards? I'm showing up off-book. I don't get to say dialogue like this. Trust me. I'm going to enjoy every second of this. Memorized."

"Deadpool and Wolverine" has broken the record for the most expletives ever spoken on camera in the MCU combined. Chris Evans, known for his role as Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, was renowned for his squeaky-clean dialogue and his memorable "Language" line, often used to keep his fellow Avengers in check.

On the work front, Evans will next be seen in the Christmas movie 'Red One', which premieres in November and co-stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and J.K. Simmons as Santa Claus.
