Diablo 4 alone makes this $15 game bundle worth it, so with one of the best JRPGS of the last decade and 6 other games it's unbeatable

Diablo 4 The Butcher.

As someone with way too many games in my backlog, I'm always hesitant to recommend game bundles that'll inevitably collect virtual dust on your hard drive, but I regret to say I've stumbled across one that would feel downright irresponsible not to flag.

Over on Humble Bundle, where these kinds of predicaments often arise, there's an offer that gets you Diablo 4 and Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance, not to mention six other acclaimed games, for $15. That's a dangerously tempting deal made all the more ominous by the fact that you could easily spend 200 hours on Diablo 4 and Shin Megami Tensei 5 alone, which is a fabulous value proposition as much as it is a threat to your existing backlog of unfinished games.

Thankfully, I already own Diablo 4 on PS5 and PC, and Shin Megami Tensei 5 on Steam, but I am tempted by Crysis 3 Remastered. I haven't played Crysis 3 since the original release, and a re-run of the whole trilogy sounds like a delightful trip down memory lane. That said, it is also something I hadn't once considered before seeing this bungle and thus highly irresponsible of me to consider when I still have Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 DLC to finish and new Diablo 4 DLC to start. (It's worth noting that the version if Diablo 4 included in the bundle does not include the Vessel of Hatred or Lord of Hatred expansions.)

The other games included in Humble's May deal are the roguelite action RPG sequel Heroes of Hammerwatch 2, the Nordic-themed tower defense game Nordhold, the piratey turn-based roguelite Rogue Waters, the No Man's Sky/Minecraft mash-up Cubic Odyssey, and the "minimalistic" city builder, Mini Settlers.

All of these games have "mostly positive" Steam reviews or better, and if you bought them all individually you'd pay a whole lot more than $15, so even if there's only one or two you're interested in, there's a good chance the Humble bundle is the more affordable option. Just make sure you give your backlog a sincere apology from yours truly.

After 3 years, Diablo 4's secret cow level is finally uncovered following Lord of Hatred, immediately labelled "boring" compared to Diablo 2 and 3's versions: "Needs more cows"
