Actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be in Delhi on Thursday to unveil the trailer of upcoming film MS Dhoni - The Untold Story, a biopic on the cricketer’s life.
The launch will be held at DAV Public School (Kulachi Hansraj Model School), where Sushant — who plays Dhoni in the film — completed his schooling from. Dhoni, too, had studied at DAV, but the Ranchi branch.
Director of the film, Neeraj Pandey confirms, “As Dhoni and Sushant hail from the same school, we thought it would be ideal to go back and launch the trailer there.”
The makers are hoping that the launch event stands out and has a personal touch. “It would refresh their (Sushant and Dhoni’s) memories from their childhood days. They’d reminisce stories from the time. The school authorities and students are, of course, very excited,” says a source from the production house.
The biopic is in post production and the team is constantly on the go. Sushant will be flying to the Capital just for the launch, and will return to Mumbai the same day, adds our source.
