'Destroy us' - Arsenal fans are all saying the same thing about facing Leeds United

Arsenal fans have voiced their concerns at the prospect of facing Leeds United next month.

The Gunners suffered a 1-0 defeat to Leicester City on Sunday as their mixed start to the season continued.

Mikel Arteta's side have a tough run of fixtures coming up, too, as they face Manchester United and Aston Villa in the Premier League before making the trip to Elland Road on November 22.

There are also Europa League games against Dundalk and Molde to contend with before facing the Whites in a packed fixture list.

It has left many fans fearing the worst - especially when it comes to playing Marcelo Bielsa's side.

Arsenal fans' words echo those of manager Arteta, who previously spoke about his admiration for Leeds' style of play.

The two sides last faced each other in January's FA Cup tie, when the Whites dominated the first half but were unable to make a breakthrough before going down to a 1-0 defeat.

At the time, Arteta said the match was a good experience for his side.

"They are a nightmare for every team to play," he said of Leeds.

"I said before the game, to play against them is like going to the dentist. It's tough. They make it really hard. They are a great team.

"What they have achieved, to do it consistently every three days with those players, and what they have built there, is powerful.

"You can see it every time you analyse any of their games. It's exactly like this. It's top to see that."

He added: "Sometimes players have to experience themselves how tough and how hard it is going to be. It was good for my players to learn and to suffer on the pitch, it's a good lesson for them.

"I watched a lot of Leeds games and they battered every team every three days."
