Designer rugs, Millennium Falcon desk lamps and homewares discounted for Star Wars Day

With May 4 now officially known as Star Wars Day, retailers have launched discounts on a wide range of geeky homewares to give a little bit of a Jedi - or Sith - style to your home, whether you want something bright, cheery and cute for kids' bedrooms or a more subtle piece hiding your love for the film franchise in plain sight in the lounge.

The products are part of Disney Home, the brand who collaborates with a wide range of licensees and retailers including big names like Next, Wayfair, Homebase, Selfridges and Amazon with products in the launch range including bedlinen, cushions, shelving, rugs, wallpaper, artwork and plenty more besides.

Ruggable has reduced all its Star Wars lines, including rugs and doormats by 15% for customers using the code STARWARS at checkout. The rugs start at £99 and come in a range of sizes with the most expensive costing £729.

The rugs comes in two parts, a non-slip rug pad and then the themed top. This makes them fully machine washable, which is ideal if you have children or pets but also means if you do want to give a room a makeover you can just buy a new top rather than paying to replace the full rug.

From geometric designs hiding mini R2D2s to a Grogu welcome mat to Persian style rugs and Turkish kilim style there's dozens of options of different colours and sizes depending on whether you're Jedi or Sith.

This lamp may not be able to make the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs, but it will brighten any Star Wars fan's desk (Amazon/Paladone)

Elsewhere for Star Wars Day, Amazon has reduced this Paladone Millennium Falcon lamp which has more than 700 positive reviews.

Meanwhile, The Art Group has released stylish prints, including Stormtrooper, R2-D2 and X-Wing Starfighter designs.

Disney Home, the interiors brand overseeing all the different franchises of the global giant including Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and of course the original character who started it all Mickey Mouse himself, launched last week with a wide range of products.

Disney Home is available at stockists nationwide now. Shoppers can find inspiration at @DisneyHome on Instagram and Pinterest.
