Much loved Derry bar Brickwork Lounge has teased opening a new rooftop bar giving customers stunning views of the city.
The renowned independent bar has taken to Facebook to tease its new addition, with a huge response coming back from the Derry public.
Brickwork currently sits in the Derry city centre on Magazine street and is known for its exquisite, indulgent cocktail menu, fantastic live music and DJs.
Now, the owner has teased an extension to the bar with the opening of a rooftop space aloft the current site.
A video uploaded to social media sites shows the incredible views customers would have while enjoying a beverage within the walled city.
However, owner Damien McLaughlin told MyDerry he'd need to "win the lotto" before he'd be able to progress with such a move but he added, "never say never".
Damien said: "Even if the finances were there we'd have to get past planners, health and safety, licensing. It took us nearly a year to get planning permission for our awnings!
"It's definitely something that would be amazing to have but it would definitely need to be more in than out with the Irish weather if you know what I mean.
"I'll be asking a few questions and see the craic anyway."
The post received a huge response from fans online, with many sharing their excitement and well wishes.
Beneath the post, one person wrote: “Absolutely superb” and a second said: “Yes, yes, yes”.
A third wrote: "That could be beautiful and a great vibe. Used to go to one in London, summer bar bbq's on it and bands."
A fourth added: "One thing Derry is sorely missing."
