Derek McInnes has agreed a deal to leave Heart of Midlothian to become Rangers manager.
The Hearts boss, who took the title race to the final day last season, will move to Ibrox and sign a three-year deal with the club.
As first reported by The Rangers Review, McInnes will succeed Danny Rohl who will exit Rangers to become the new manager of RB Salzburg.
The double deal comes after a frantic 48 hours for Rangers chiefs with Rohl leaving and a replacement found and now secured.
It's understood McInnes was the only candidate formally spoken to by Rangers chiefs, with Andrew Cavenagh and Jim Gillespie leading the discussions.
A four-man shortlist had been compiled by Rangers chiefs after it became clear Rohl would leave the club.

McInnes will begin his tenure as Rangers manager when he returns from Boston, where he is watching the Scotland national team at the World Cup.
Rangers are due back in pre-season training this week and have a camp in Austria pencilled in for next month.
McInnes has been tasked with delivering the title at Ibrox after being headhunted as the new Rangers manager.
Hearts will receive a six-figure compensation package for McInnes. It's thought the fee will be in the region of £500k.
