Speaking to Rangers TV following the match in Spain, McInnes gave an updated transfer timeline in the lead-up to his first match as the club's manager at Ibrox next week. "Ivor [Pandur] got a couple of weeks off, and Cammy [Devlin] got a week off. Thelo [Aasgaard] took a week off as well, but he was eager to come back into it," he said.
"We're delighted to get them back in the building, and that will give us another jag of quality, and it just bolsters the squad. The club has done brilliant work at this moment in time to try and bring in the additions that we clearly needed from last season.

"We want to make sure we are a more rounded squad when it comes to the bit that we're ready, but the work will be ongoing. We're still looking to try and get a couple of things done ahead of the St-Etienne game on Wednesday.
"We're two weeks away from Dundee United, and I feel that the fitness of the players is a lot better and stronger to where we want it to be, from when we set off a couple of weeks ago.
"Now we just need to try and get that understanding and be more game-ready, and that's in both boxes, really."
