Derby boss Frank Lampard mocks Spygate controversy after his side's win over Leeds United

A video has appeared online showing Derby boss Frank Lampard appearing to mock the Spygate controversy from earlier this season.

Lampard admitted that his side's dramatic Championship playoff semi-final victory over the Whites was made all the sweeter because of the incident back in January - and he has now appeared to poke fun at his opposite Marcelo Bielsa in his side's post-match celebrations.

"Maybe, maybe. I'm not gonna lie maybe it is," the former Chelsea man told Sky Sports post-match.

"I heard a lot of people saying that we were crying about Spygate but I haven't thought about Spygate for a long time."

Leeds United fans unanimous in who is to blame for their defeat to Derby County

A brace from Jack Marriott helped Lampard's side to a 4-2 win on Wednesday night, taking them to Wembley with a 4-3 aggregate victory.

Leeds fans have continually mocked Lampard for what they described as "crying" over the incident - but following their dramatic win at Elland Road, Derby's players could be seen miming the wearing of binoculars in front of their supporters, while Duane Holmes later filmed Lampard singing the Leeds' fans' song - to the tune of Oasis' Stop Crying Your Heart Out in his side's dressing room.
