Denise Van Outen and Johnny Vaughan want to bring back Big Breakfast after ending feud

Denise Van Outen has admitted she's been talking to Johnny Vaughan about the possibility of reviving their telly partnership to bring back The Big Breakfast to mark the show's 30th anniversary.

The pair were among the hosts of the much-loved Channel 4 show, but famously fell out and didn't speak to each other for years.

They have recently repaired their relationship, and Denise, 46, has confirmed she'd like to reunite with Johnny, 54, to celebrate 30 years since the show first hit screens.

Speaking on the Sweat, Snot and Tears podcast, the Dancing On Ice star said: "We have been speaking a lot recently. We've been on-and-off as friends for years for various reasons...

"A lot of my friends, that's never happened with, but I think just ours had combined career and work. When it's a work thing it's different."

Denise previously told The Mirror she has high hopes for a reunion: "It would be nice to do something.

"Johnny and I have had a bit of a rocky relationship over the years for various reasons and, funnily enough, we've messaged a lot in lockdown

"These situations make you reflect and realise some of the silly niggles and arguments you have are just not worth it."

The show launched in 1992 and was originally hosted by Chris Evans and Gaby Roslin.

Denise and Johnny joined in 1997 and became one of the most popular partnerships in the show's history.

They worked together on The Big Breakfast until 1998 and then returned for another stint from 2000 until 2001 before falling out.

Other presenters who worked on the show over the years included Zoe Ball, Kelly Brook, Donna Air and Richard Bacon.
