NEW DELHI: A highly decomposed body of a man was found hanging from a tree in the forest area of JNU on Friday.
Police received a call regarding this at around 6.30 pm.
“A team visited the spot and found that a body was hanging from a tree in the forest area. It appeared that the person was aged around 45. The body was in a highly decomposed state,” said deputy commissioner of police (south-west) Manoj C.
“The crime and forensic teams were called to the spot for examination,” he said.
“The body is yet to be identified and an inquest proceeding has been initiated,” the officer said.”
