Declan Rice joins West Ham fans with message for Tomas Soucek after his perfect hat-trick

Tomas Soucek's fine season is just getting better and better. The midfielder has continued his excellent 2019-20 form into this season and has now taken his incredible West Ham displays to the international stage with the Czech Republic.

After a minor goal drought for the Hammers, no goals in seven games, the Czech star has now netted four in four days with a perfect hat-trick for his country after flicking in West Ham's third goal against Arsenal on Sunday.

Soucek has scored nine goals in 29 league appearances for West Ham this season and now has four in his last two international matches.

Soucek's first hat-trick for his country came just a day after he was voted the Czech Republic's Men's Footballer of the Year for the second time in succession, beating West Ham's Vladimir Coufal, who came second in the poll, to the award.

The central midfielder's incredible display for his country drew praise from West Ham fans and Soucek received a special congratulations message from his midfield partner Declan Rice.

Hammers fans were just as pleased as Rice was with Soucek taking his club form to the international game.

Rice and the English section of West Ham's fanbase might not be so keen to see the Czech midfielder perform at such a high level in the summer though.

On June 22 England take on the Czech Republic at Wembley in their third and final group game of the postponed Euro 2020 championships and West Ham's two central midfielders are bound to come head to head in the clash.

They might not be the only Hammers facing off against each other either. Vladimir Coufal is fighting to make the Czech right-back slot his own and Jesse Lingard was recently recalled to the Three Lions squad, both will be desperate to make be involved in this summer's tournament.

Soucek is the first of West Ham's nine players on international duty to take to the field for his country with Coufal an unused substitute on Wednesday and Androy Yarmolenko not named in the Ukrainian matchday squad that drew 1-1 with France.

Rice and Lingard could be in action for Gareth Southgate's team on Thursday evening to take on international minnows San Marino.

Frederick Alves will be hoping to represent the Denmark U-21 at the same time in their UEFA European Under-21 Championship opener.

Hammers goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is another who could be in action on Thursday evening with his Polish team taking on Hungary in the first of their FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers.
