Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has issued a message on his future amid reported interest in his services from Chelsea.
The stopper has excelled on loan with Sheffield United in the past two seasons, leading to calls that he should become first-choice for both United and England.
However, with David de Gea firmly established as number one at Old Trafford, speculation surrounding Henderson's future has been rife and Chelsea are among the clubs attributed with an interest in his services.
United are keen to tie Henderson down to a new deal but, posting on Twitter, he didn't indicate which path he will choose moving forward, only referencing the 'next chapter'.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at @sheffieldunited for the last two years.
"Winning promotion to the Premier League with my brothers and having the season we had this season is something I will never forget," he posted on social media.
"I would like to thank the manager, my teammates, the backroom staff and of course, the fans, who have been unbelievable towards to me [sic].
"I will look back at the last two years as an important chapter in my career and more than anything, I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to learn and develop with such a class group of lads.
"I can’t wait for the next chapter!
"Once again, thank you for everything! Once a blade, always a blade!"
