Dawn Buckingham spent more than any other Republican State Senate candidate or officeholder in Texas

Texas Republican State Senate candidates and officeholders have spent $22.2 million during the 2022 election cycle. Among state senators and candidates, Dawn Buckingham has spent more than any other Republican.

Buckingham is the representative for Texas State Senate District 24 and is running for Texas Land Commissioner in 2022. Buckingham raised $2.8 million and spent $3.7 million between Jan. 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022. According to Texas Ethics Commission reports, Buckingham spent the most money with the following individual payees and PACs.
