David Dickinson makes Loose Women return after awkward 'incident' with Coleen Nolan

David Dickinson returned to be a guest on Loose Women on Thursday, for the first time since an 'incident' with Coleen Nolan left her ITV colleagues completely horrified.

Last week, fans of David's popular ITV show Real Deal were unnerved by reports that the former Bargain Hunt star was ready to walk away from the programme, claiming that his imminent departure was an 'open secret' and that This Morning contributor Dan Hatfield Is being lined up to replace him.

Reps for the 81-year-old were quick to shut down speculation, with a source close to the much loved antiques expert saying: "“David has no plans to retire from Dickinson’s Real Deal, a show he still very much enjoys making, and is hugely looking forward working on the upcoming series later this month,

David quashed the rumours himself when he took a seat on the Loose Women panel, telling the show's stars he and his team had 'no idea' where the story came from.

But, before David made his entrance to the studio, host Kaye Adams left colleague Coleen squirming in her seat as she revisited footage from his last appearance on the show.

In the clip, David was seen with Coleen and other Loose Women stars like Christine Lampard and Stacey Solomon with her saying that she ;didn't want to hold' the china post he passed her, before it slipped out of her grip and fell to the ground, smashing into pieces as as a panic stricken Christine put her hands over her mouth.

Coleen shouted: "Please tell me it's a fake!!" as David replied: It isn't fake; it's worth several hundreds of thousands of pounds," before adding: "I hope ITV has got some insurance," before storming off set.

Unbeknown to her Loose Women colleagues, Coleen was very much in on the hoax and had planned it behind the scenes with David. Recalling what happened, she explained: "It was so awkward! Everyone went silent and no-one knew what to say.. but it was all fake. A little trick we played on the girls.,"
