David Beckham urged to ‘tell the truth’ by Mel B’s ex Jimmy Gulzar in cryptic social media posts

Mel B’s ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar launched an unexpected online tirade against David Beckham, demanding the former footballer “tell people the truth.”

The dancer, 49, who was married to the Spice Girl from 1998 to 2000, shared a series of cryptic posts on Instagram on Tuesday directly addressing Beckham.

In one post, he wrote: “David Beckham, it’s your old pal Jimmy Gulzar here. Tell me, when are you gonna tell people the truth? Or... should I perhaps?”

Just two hours later, Gulzar followed up with another post, accusing Beckham of “memory loss,” writing: “David are you suffering from severe (memory) loss or is it something else (sic)? Tell the truth!

“Or did you just woke up one day and waved your magic (wand) and poeff (sic).”

The messages immediately drew attention from fans, with many flooding the comments to ask what he was referring to.

One user replied: “Please do tell,” while another wrote: “You’ve had decades to speak your truth. Strange timing.”

Gulzar responded: “I can say the same thing, David had decades to tell the truth, why didn't he?”

When another user accused him of chasing money, Gulzar hit back: “Money? Where? How? Insta? Pfff. Go check yourself before you speak.”

Neither Beckham nor his representatives have commented on the claims.

Mel B, now 49, married Gulzar in September 1998 while three months pregnant with their daughter, Phoenix Chi.

The couple split in January 2000 and finalised their divorce that June.

Following the split, Mel moved to the US, where she won custody of their daughter. Gulzar later followed her to America, reportedly staying in the country illegally as he tried to maintain contact with Phoenix — later admitting he struggled with his mental health during that time.

Beckham, meanwhile, has been married to Mel’s former Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham since 1999.

Meanwhile, the football legend, 50, has continued to promote his son Cruz’s upcoming music release on social media.

Last week, Beckham’s youngest son took his budding music career to the next level as he played an intimate gig to 100 people at a pub in east London.

He made a surprise appearance at The George Tavern in Shadwell, where the likes of Amy Winehouse have previously played.

The 20-year-old took to a small wooden stage with a band to perform his original songs, including Optics, Caroline, For Your Love, and Lick The Toad.

“This is really special for me. I just want to thank everyone for being here tonight,” he told the audience, according to the Daily Mail.

Cruz - who is rumoured to be feuding with his older brother Brooklyn - did not appear to have been supported by his famous relatives on the night.

However, his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29, was in the crowd, sharing a tearful image of herself watching him perform on Instagram.

“Safe to say I did not keep it together,” the model wrote.

She added after the show: “Unannounced, just working on his craft, doing his little thing, having fun, learning, preparing, all HIS songs made by HIM played by HIM sang by HIM, absolutely smashing it, I love you.”
