David Beckham cries ‘tears of pride’ as he and Victoria cheer on son Cruz’s band

Cruz Beckham is taking his first steps toward a music career — with proud parents cheering him on from the sidelines.

Cruz, 20, is pursuing stardom with his band The Breakers, who performed a small gig for family and friends.

Victoria shared a clip of her son singing, writing: “Wow!!! You look so happy Cruz and we couldn’t be prouder we love you @cruzbeckham xxxxxxxxxx.”

Meanwhile, an emotional David added: “Family & friends night with Cruz we r so proud of you mate we love you and the journey that you are on.

“Tonight was full of love & a few tears of joy and pride #CruzBeckham&The Breakers @victoriabeckham love you Cruzie @cruzbeckham.”

His girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30, also turned out to support him and even hinted a debut album could be on the way.

“Might it finally be time to drop what we've all been waiting for? @cruzbeckham,” she said.

Last month, Cruz’s band signed with music management company C3, who have previously worked with The Strokes.

He also performed his single Optics, which has raised eyebrows for its explicit lyrics.

“Take a thousand selfies in your bed while I trip in mine,” he sings.

“I love me some mushrooms and good head and an erotic 69.”

Last week, it was reported that Cruz had his driving licence revoked after being caught speeding twice in 20mph zones.

He lost his licence after committing two speeding offences within two years of passing his test, both in 20mph areas. He is among 500,000 drivers caught speeding in similar zones.

Cruz’s second offence is believed to have happened on September 2, the publication reported. At the time, he told his Instagram followers he had been caught doing “24 in a 20” zone.

Under UK law, any driver who accumulates six or more penalty points within two years of passing their test has their licence automatically revoked and made void. It means Cruz will now have to re-take both his theory and practical tests to regain a licence from the DVLA.

Sources close to Cruz told the Mail on Sunday he was “gutted” to lose his licence. “It’s infuriating but he seems to have taken it on the chin,” they added.
