Sir David Attenborough has been honoured for his 100th birthday with a custom Google Doodle.
The legendary broadcaster is spending his milestone birthday on Friday (8 May) with close family before attending a live event staged in his honour at the Royal Albert Hall, which will be shown on BBC One.
Aside from an abundance of well-wishes from people all around the world, Sir David has been honoured with his own specialised Google logo on the search engine’s home page.
The temporary alteration features a “Thank You” note, with animal creatures wearing party hats and holding cupcakes and small gifts for the beloved naturalist.
