Daredevil TRNSMT fan climbs on to a merchandise stand to take epic selfie

A TRNSMT fan was filmed climbing on to a merchandise stall to take an epic selfie during Saturday night's headline act.

The brazen fan wanted to get the best vantage point to get a shot with the crowd behind him.

He pulled the stunt during Catfish and the Bottlemen's headline gig on Saturday night.

Today's main stage stars were Sam Fender, rising local stars The Snuts, indie pop act Sundara Karma, quirky singer Sigrid, rockers The DMAs, ex-Verve singer Richard Ashcroft and Bastille, before Catfish took over as the sun went down.

He climbed the stall to get a perfect selfie (Daily Record)

Temperatures hit 22C, with revellers breaking out bikinis and cut out swimsuits usually reserved for trips to Greece, Spain and Turkey.

Pharmacists said suncream sales near the site were through the roof with young female fans leading the charge.
