Tottenham will have a new man in the dugout on Wednesday evening against Southampton following Jose Mourinho's exit from the club.
Taking over from Mauricio Pochettino in November 2019, the 58-year-old was seen as the man to transform the club's fortunes but unfortunately it didn't turn out as initially planned.
Confirming the departure of Mourinho in a statement on Monday morning, the club also revealed that Ryan Mason would take charge of first-team training as a result of Daniel Levy's decision to dismiss the ex-Chelsea coach.
Tipped to take charge of Spurs for the rest of the season alongside the experienced Chris Powell, having the former Tottenham player in the hotseat could well benefit a number of the squad.
So which players could profit if the 29-year-old is confirmed as caretaker manager? football.london takes a look.
Gareth Bale
Mason knows Bale well following his time coming through the Tottenham academy to the first team when the Welshman was in his first stint at the club.
Although Bale may not have featured regularly under Mourinho this term, a change of management could bring about a change of fortune for him.
If Mason is in charge against Southampton and goes with an attacking side, the Real Madrid loanee may well be pushing for a starting spot.
Harry Winks
Another player who Mason is familiar with is Winks as they were teammates before the former's move to Hull City in 2016.
As Winks has been way out of favour under Mourinho for large chunks of this season, he may be one who could come in against Southampton if there's a change in midfield.
You would imagine his chances of game time between now and the end of the season will improve now.
Dele Alli
Alli's lack of minutes for Tottenham this season has been a major talking point since September.

Starting only two games in the Premier League all term, the chance he has been waiting for my finally come his way with Mourinho departing Spurs.
Mason knows all about the threat Alli possesses after playing alongside him under Pochettino and it wouldn't be a shock to see him out on the pitch against Southampton.
Danny Rose
Could Mourinho's exit see Rose join up with the Tottenham first team again?
Not registered by the former boss in both the Premier League and Europa League this season, the left-back has trained away from the rest of the squad after failing to secure a move elsewhere.
Although he cannot play in the league as he isn't eligible to do so, he could still be invited back to training to help him build his fitness back up and give him a confidence boost ahead of the summer.
Steven Bergwijn
Bergwijn appeared to have made the right wing position his own during the first part of the season but he has struggled to even make the matchday squad recently.
Left out again on Friday night at Everton, the Dutchman will have his fingers crossed that he gets the nod to return to the matchday 20 for the visit of Southampton.
However, the issue for Mourinho's signing is that he has plenty of competition for a place in the team.
Toby Alderweireld
Alderweireld has endured a rather strange season despite some strong performances at times.
Constantly in and out of the XI since the big kick-off in September, the experienced player was recalled to the team at Everton and played the full 90 minutes.
The decision to put Mason in temporary charge could well see him become a regular once again as Tottenham look to solve their defensive woes.
