Danny Dyer at Soccer Aid: Feud with 'nemesis' Mark Wright and the X-rated song about daughter Dani and her footballer partner

Danny Dyer will feature in his first Soccer Aid match this evening.

The EastEnders star will sport a moustache at Old Trafford in an unfamiliar look to regular watchers of the soap, and you can find out why he's grown one here.

Making his debut in the charity match has taken so long because of feud with "nemesis" Mark Wright, according to The Sun newspaper.

Dyer refused to take part as long as Wright was involved, they report.

“Danny is a huge football fan and Soccer Aid is a dream gig for him," a source told the newspaper. "Previously he’s refused to take part if Mark is on the team. Danny is buzzing he can now be a part of it and he is looking forward to walking out at Old Trafford tonight.”

The feud between the two started back in 2013 when Wright landed a role in a gangster movie alongside Dyer and Kelly Brook.

"It's bad enough that Kelly Brook is supposed to be in it, but Mark Wright?" Danny fumed. "Do me a favour." And in 2013, he sniped: "I don't know him, but he's everything I hate about this whole celebrity world."

He added: "It's mainly because of some of his quotes saying he wants to be the next James Bond. If he's the next James Bond, it's over for me. It's the arrogance of it all - it irritates me. Mark's not up my street, he'll never be a mate of mine - good luck to him, just stay away from me."

Dyer will line up for England tonight and will hope he gets a bit more backing from the coaching team than he did during training this week. Harry Redknapp said this week: “I am not sure.

“I saw him play yesterday and if we are relying on Danny to win the game for us, we are in trouble. If we put a West Ham shirt on him I think he’d run faster. He’s had a good week, I think he is still celebrating.”

Dyer's daughter Dani is in a relationship with boyfriend Jarrod Bowen, the England footballer who scored the winner for Dyer's beloved Hammers in the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina in midweek.

The Hammers fans sing a rather X-rated song about Bowen and Dyer's daughter, sung to the tune of "Bowen's on fire, and he's s******* Dani Dyer", but it is all taken in good jest.

"I just didn't think I could love a man any more," Dyer told talkSPORT this week.

"It's always a weird thing because it's your daughter, they fall in love with people you don't usually like but she brought home Jarrod Bowen.

"I think I love Jarrod more than anyone, more than me own wife! I'm a bit jealous of my daughter...

"I couldn't have written a better script. It was a tricky game, we went 1-0 up and that was amazing and of course they nicked that nutty little goal, the geezer had three touches and it's in the net and I thought, 'Oh, here we go.' I'm a West Ham fan, I'm used to heartbreak.

"But then in the 90th minute... I sobbed me heart out."
