Danniella Westbrook's new stalker fears as she's 'scared to go out' after creepy messages

Danniella Westbrook fears she is being stalked again after being flooded with creepy messages on her social media accounts.

The former EastEnders actress, 49, claims she is receiving multiple messages a day giving personal details about her life, leaving her suspicious about who is sending them.

It comes after the star was hounded by a female stalker, who was eventually jailed for three years in 2021.

Now Danniella, best known for playing Samantha Mitchell in EastEnders, is worried she is being targeted again.

She says a string of new messages, which are complimentary so far, have started to land in her inbox.

But she thinks this is the start of something more sinister having gone through a stalking ordeal in the past.

In an interview with new! magazine, the 49-year-old revealed she has started getting creepy messages from a number of accounts.

She shared: “They are quite tame at the moment and say, ‘Oh, you’re beautiful Danniella’ and, ‘How are you?’ Other messages are giving personal details about my life.

“I’m getting multiple messages a day from these accounts and I think it will step up. I’ve seen it happen before.”

Describing it as a “nightmare”, Danniella continued: “I’m worried I won’t be able to leave the house again. It brings back memories from the time before – it’s really horrible... it’s really affecting me.”

She added she had reported the latest messages to the police as she is feeling “really worried, panicked and second-guessing everything”.

Danniella says the abuse started after she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother (PA)

Danniella was first harassed in 2016 after appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, which turned into a campaign of “relentless hate”.

At its worst, she says she was being sent hundreds of abusive messages and friend requests a day.

Taking to social media to try and catch her previous stalker, Danniella said things had progressed to the next level.

“She’d taken pictures through my windows and of my kids coming out of school. It made me really ill,” she shared.

Some of the abuse Danniella received included messages saying ‘Your kids hate you’ and bringing up her past drug addiction.

Her stalker even followed her to Marbella when she moved countries to escape the abuse.

And she says the stalker got hold of her phone number and would “call at all times of the day”.

Detailing her previous ordeal, Danniella – who had panic alarms installed at her house as she was that freaked out – said the whole thing made her “seriously physically ill”.

She explained: “Because I’d relapsed with drugs [previously], people thought I was on a cocaine frenzy. Other people were calling me paranoid. I wasn’t either of those things. It made me ill and I was on antidepressants to help.”

Somehow the stalker even managed to hack into Danniella’s Instagram and Twitter accounts.

She says it was only after suffering abuse for two-and-a-half years that police finally got involved and her stalker was brought to justice.

“It was the most horrific time and I was constantly living in fear because no one would really listen,” Danniella recalled.

Now she says she is careful not to post where she is online or anything about her house to avoid leave herself open to revealing information that could get into the hands of online trolls.

Natasha Dawn, was jailed for three years after pleading guilty to three counts of stalking in 2021. She was branded a "full-time troll" in court.

The Mirror has reached out to Danniella's reps for further comment on this story.
