Daniel Mackay will undergo a medical today ahead of completing a move to Easter Road this summer.
The winger will join from Inverness Caley Thistle after the two clubs agreed a fee and it will be completed once Mackay undergoes a successful medical.
He's impressed for the Highland side and scored a stunning goal against Ross County in the Scottish Cup earlier this season.
The 20-year-old has nine goals in 30 appearances in the Championship this season and Hibs hope he can make a successful step up to the Premiership.
He's the first signing for Jack Ross' side ahead of next season as they look to guarantee themselves European group stage football until Christmas.
And Hibs chief Graeme Mathie said: “We are delighted to have agreed a fee with Inverness for Daniel.
“He fits the profile of the type of players we want to continue to bring to the club.
“In all the conversations we have had with Daniel, his family and his representatives, it was clear that they all see Hibernian as the right place to continue to develop his career.
