Dancing With The Stars celeb quick to respond as Ryan Tubridy makes Brian Dowling baby name blunder on Late Late

Ryan Tubridy made an unfortunate slip on last night's RTE Late Late Show as he referred to Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian's baby as the wrong name.

Tubs mistakingly used the name of a Dancing With The Stars contestant but was quickly corrected by doting dad Brian Dowling.

Tubridy asked a questioned about 'Brooke' instead of 'Blake' which is Arthur and Brian's daughter's name.

Brian and Arthur joked that viewers might think he was talking about Dancing With The Stars contestant Brooke Scullion, given Arthur is a judge on the show.

Brooke was quick to take to Twitter and give her thoughts on the hilarious mix-up. She wrote:

"I'd be so proud to be your daughter @brianoffical & Arthur."

Brian remained light-hearted about the mistake replying to the Eurovision star's tweet saying "HOWLING."

Brian and husband Arthur were joined on the Late Late by Brian's sister Aoife, who acted as surrogate for the couple.

The trio were chatting to Ryan ahead of the couple's new documentary Brian and Arthur's Very Modern Family, chronicling their surrogacy journey.

Speaking to Ryan about their experience, Arthur hailed Aoife's decision to act as surrogate as a 'miracle"

"A miracle happened- And she's sitting right here."

The couple welcomed their new bundle of joy last September. On the show, Brian spoke about why it had taken them so long to decide to have a child.

"We just kept saying the time was never right. We focused on our careers and living in London. We kept making excuses."
