Dancing on Ice viewers were left cringing over a comment to Holly Willoughby by Jay McGuinness from boyband The Wanted. Former Strictly Come Dancing winner Jay was cheering on bandmate Siva Kaneswaran on the ITV skating contest when host Holly went over to chat to him in the audience.
Holly enthusiastically introduced Jay and opened the interview with a question about Siva's Elvis routine during Movie Week. Dancing On Ice and This Morning presenter Holly asked him what she thought of Siva's hip action on the ice. She said: "He keeps saying he can't dance, but we all saw those hips tonight."
"You perv," replied Jay with a smile. And Holly retorted: "Well, you know, they were there." Jay then continued to praise his pal, saying: "I think any time anyone gets out there and moves their body that can be intimidating. But he's a big, gorgeous, handsome, good boy and he's doing do good and everyone's so proud of him."

He added about Siva, who missed last week's episode through illness: "Even though he was sick I was anxious people would be critical of him. But he kept pushing on and we're so proud of you Siva."
Viewers took to Twitter to express their awkwardness. @strictlysvito wrote: "Not jay mcguinness calling holly willoughby a perv on live tv." And @strictlysvito said: "It was so awkward lol."
@goawayamy asked: "Am i hearing right jay called holly willoughby a perv on live telly?" And @AntGill77 said: "Jay calling Holly a perv and then the whole place went silent."
@TheRealZoeMBE also asked: "Did Jay just call Holly a perv?" And @BlondeMzungu said: "Holly not too impressed at being called a perv by Jay McGuiness, and rightly so! He was well out of order.2
Comedian Darren Harriott became the latest star to be eliminated on Sunday night following a skate-off with Siva. The judges picked to save Siva, resulting in Darren being eliminated.
