Dancing on Ice star Christopher Dean shares amazing throwback pictures of his time in the police force

Olympic hero Christopher Dean took his followers on a trip down memory lane with a cute collection of throwback pictures to his time serving in Nottinghamshire Police.

The Dancing on Ice host, who shares his social media accounts with long-time skating partner Jayne Torvill, now hopes he'll track down some of his former cadet colleagues of yesteryear.

Taking to Twitter, the former copper shared a group picture of his old force buddies asking: "Where are you all?"

Only child Chris grew up in Calverton with his step mother Betty and father Colin, who was a coal miner. His mother Mavis left the family home when Chris was six years old after Betty and Colin's affair was exposed.

He attended Colonel Frank Seely School where he was captain of the football team. At the age of 16 he left and joined Nottinghamshire Police. It was a job he stayed in until 1980.

He was still a police officer when he teamed up with Jayne Torvill and shared another nostalgic snap of the pair looking baby-faced.

Chris and Jayne's Twitter account is quickly becoming a must follow for fans with thousand watching their fun videos online, including a parody version of Chris' lockdown routine which garnered more than 70,000 views.
