Dancing on Ice's Faye and Hamish 'robbed' by judges after 'amazing' ballet dance

Dancing on Ice fans were left annoyed saying Faye Brookes and Hamish Gaman were "robbed" following tonight's performance.

Faye and Hamish were the last to perform on tonight's show with the pair opting for a daring ballet routine to Swan Lake for dance week on the ITV competition.

Faye was involved in a headbanger-style lift and several very complicated moves which stunned viewers watching at home.

The judging panel agreed it was a great performance, but failed to score Faye higher than any of the other skaters, meaning she was joint top with two other skaters, with a score of 32.5.

The judges said they treated Faye harsher than other contestants because of her ability, but viewers thought she deserved much higher scores, with many slamming the judges methods on social media.

Nick said: "Absolutely Faye was robbed. That was incredible in a whole different class and standard."

Bekka Bee said: "What is wrong with the # dancingonice judges this week?! Faye and Hamish are the best there!! Crazy how you’ve scored so low, that was everything!!!"

Rose Hill said: "Faye's # DancingOnIce routine was SEVERELY undermarked tonight... that was honestly amazing. What is wrong with Ashley tonight? Using 'it looked easy' as a criticism is ridiculous - she made it look easy because it was that good."

Laura Charlotte said: "Think judges have forgot that in actual ice dancing you’re judged against other skaters, not against your own ability. So harsh & unfair on faye & hamish."

And Caitlin said: "So sick of them judging faye on a whole different level to the rest of the contestants! if somebody else had danced that dance as beautifully as faye and hamish did they would’ve scored way higher!! SORT IT OUT."

Despite the judges scores Faye and Hamish managed to sail through to next week which will see the skaters dance to romantic songs for Valentine's Day.

*Dancing on Ice continues at 6pm on ITV on Sunday
