Dancing on Ice 2023: Ekin-Su reportedly paid £100,000 to take part in ITV show

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is being paid £100,000 to take part in Dancing on Ice next year, making her the highest-paid Lover Island star.

It's claimed ITV bosses were so desperate to have her on the they were willing to pay eye-watering amounts to get her signed up.

The Turkish actress found fame after appearing on and winning ITV2's Love Island this summer. According to The Sun, bosses on the show were so keen to get the star on the programme that they offered her a substantial amount to sign up, writes the Mirror.

A source said: "Bosses were desperate to sign Ekin-Su, so they paid her £100,000 to sign on the dotted line. As a comparison, Love Island stars would normally command something in the region of £30-50k for the show, so this is a huge deal for Ekin-Su."

The source believed that Ekin-Su was "well worth every penny" due to her staggering popularity after winning Love Island by a landslide vote.

In contrast, the likes of Maura Higgins, Wes Nelson and Liberty Poole who have appeared on Dancing On Ice were paid around £30,000.

However, they added that Kem Cetinay who has also put himself through the skating challenge was a big signing for bosses but he didn't come close to Ekin-Su's salary.

Ekin-Su joins the likes of Michelle Heaton, Joey Essex, Mollie Gallagher, Nile Wilson, Patsy Palmer, The Vivienne and Siva Kaneswaran who will also be appearing on the show.

Michelle who recently celebrated being sober for 18 months announced on Lorraine's ITV show that she would be participating.

She said: "I've always wanted to do it but I know I would never have been able to complete anything because of the way I was 18 months ago, so I'm really truly grateful that I've got it this year when I'm a lot stronger."

He told hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary: "I'm so happy, I'm so excited. It's more serious to what I normally do, I've done all the dating shows in the world. This is a bit more serious for me."
