Damien Wayans rewrites script for his Hollywood Hills house, expands reach to renters

Aug. 17--Damien Wayans is changing it up in the Hollywood Hills. The actor-writer-producer has new real estate agents, a new for-sale price and also is offering his Hollywood Hills house for long-term lease at $12,500 a month.

He had listed the home for sale this year at $2.2 million and recently put it back on the market at $1.849 million.

A stellar swimming pool and spa look out on the surrounding hillsides while the late-70s Mediterranean takes in valley and cityscape views. Distressed wood floors, wrought-iron work, high ceilings and interior arches are among architectural details.

The family room features a wet bar, a fireplace and French doors that open to a balcony. The 3,617 square feet of designer-done interiors also contain an office, a formal dining room, five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Wayans, 35, has kept busy the last several years acting, appearing regularly in the series "Single Ladies" (2014) and "Second Generation Wayans" (2013).

He bought the property in 2005 for $1.35 million.

Mica Rabineau of Nourmand Associates and Stephanie Solomon Browne of Pacific Home Brokers are the listing agents.
